Recognizing, as John Holloway says, that we do not live in a world of self-determination but instead struggle towards it, I am invovled in a number of organizing movements. For me, organizing is the primary way in which peoples social rights and material conditions are improved, and I am firmly committed to a bottom-up model of organizing. This page charts a mostly repersentative history of my organizing activities and the institutions I am fortunate to have stood with.
Political Economy and Algorithms Collective
Organizing Comitte Member, Founder, and Special Projects Chair (2023-Present)
One of my core intellectual homes is the Political Economy and Algorithms Collective, is an interdisciplinary and multi-institutional academic, activist, and organizer collective working at the intersection of politics, economics, and computing. The group forwards a liberatory and solidarity driven methodology for studying technology, and I can be found leading a few session each season.

Boston University Graduate Workers Union (BUGWU)
Union Steward (2023-Present)
As a union steward I lead much of the organizing for our department. Duties include helping workers ensure the contract is enforced, barganing new contracts, setting up mutual aid systems, and many, many organizing conversations. In 2024, we went on strike ofr a total of 206 days, fighting for imrpoved healthcare, wages, and are currently preparing to bargain our second contract with the university.

Boston DSA
Member and Working Mass Writer (2024-Present)
Boston DSA is my local chapter of DSA, and I am primarily invovled with the Labor Worker Group, which helps provide organizing support to workers and unions across the Boston metropolitan area. I am also a semi-active writer for Working-Mass, an editorially independent project focused on covering working people driven movements. See my writing page for more details!

SEIU 509
Committee On Political Education (COPE) Member and Active Steward (2023-Present)
I am also a proud member of SEIU 509, BUGWU's parent union and one of the SEIU locals within New England. Much of my organizing here is within the Committee On Political Education which handles union endorsments, canvasses, and runs political education campaigns. However, I can also often be found at 509 cordinated protests and events.
